For me, blogging started with people sharing fashion ideations. Places they found quirky things, sharing new beauty trends or products, helping the regular girl become the white swan. Now, its gone way beyond that. I now notice people wanting to imitate lifestyles. The way one behaves, the places one goes to, the travels they embark on!

Summer calls for light layers and even lighter hues to deal with the sweltering heat. Stripes are all over this season and specifically the blue and white versions of it and why not? Not only does it have that fresh, clean approach and are extremely easy to style but the colours also have been psychologically proven to instil a feeling of calm, peace and purity!

This suedette mini skirt from Veromoda is a piece that you can dress in so many different ways and make it look brand new with just switching the pieces around. I love the hue as well because it works into so many different colour palettes making the perfect transition piece. For this look, I paired it with a intricate lace & crochet top which created a subtle contrast. To amp it up a bit, I threw on this suedette fringe jacket! This jacket is definitely another piece thats going to be in my closet for years.

So I’m back with yet another summer look. Khaki is a colour that I love all round the year and recently I’ve spotted this hue in various different stores as shorts, blazers, duster coats or even palazzos or maxi skirts.
